Glasslined rotary dryer for blending and drying of solid products.

The Base Frame consists of two interconnected lateral stands which support the vessel in floating roller bearings.

At one side is the drive gear, which rotates the unit, complete with rotating joint for entry of steam to the jacket and draining of condensate. The variable speed drive gear, is composed of an electric motor with a mechanical variable speed gear, reduction gear and positive gear-type transmission.

On the other side is located the vacuum suction pipe, with a stuffing box or a mechanical seal and a thermo-well. The mechanical seal is a double cartridge type permitting quick removal.

Accessories included in the supply:

Glass-coated manhole protection ring.

• Auxiliary spring-loaded device for facilitating opening of the manhole cover.
• Thermowell.
• Blind flange on the discharge nozzle.

Optional extras :

• PTFE-lined butterfly valve.
